For the longest time, I’ve been running Discord (for miscellaneous information and images) and Are.na (more organized web “collections”).

alt text This is how I organize things in Are.na, stuff that I want to look into currently, or I’m currently interested in

I discovered Obsidian a while ago, maybe last year, but never really got to actually understanding what functionalities it has today. It’s a program that lets you write with secure vaults, but with much more functionality and customization compared to the default notepad that your OS offers.

So far, I’ve taken some insights on Haruki Murakami’s Kafka on the Shore that I can look back to in the future. I want to also use it to journal daily, which is embedded as the “daily note” feature.

I think these various programs are useful in collecting things that at least I enjoy and want to look back to, even if there are a ton of them I can’t handle at once.
